Entertainment is considered to be one of the biggest money grossing factors in the market today. An Entertainment Company primarily deals with activities that relate to recreation that is catered to the common public. It could be movies, animated films, commercial advertisements featuring top celebrities and sports entertainment shows like wrestling and boxing. The later is sports with a script and storyline backing it and the final product is delivered live to the audience. Other media targeting activities would include a fashion show or an exhibition in an art gallery amongst others. The entire motive is to provide the common masses with news that seems to be an illusion compared to the daily chores they face.
In the initial stages an entertainment program was basically sponsored by corporate houses who at the most had stakes involved with the venture that was produced and then provided through television or media to the general audiences. Today you have a complete industry dedicated to this field. The Entertainment Industry on a whole consists of a large number of sub-industries, basically categorized into four major parts.
1) Traditional Live Entertainment Industry. 2) The Mass Media Entertainment Industry.
3) Electronic Industry. 4) Related off-shore Entertainment. The categorized sub-industry has their own audiences that help them to flourish.
The traditional live industry is provides entertainment live to the audience, instead of a taped format as followed by the other groups. It could be theatre, a musical show, a sports show, a fashion show or any show that involves performing arts. Entertainment in this category is also related to exhibitions. A fare or an exhibition at a museum or an art gallery, all fall under this category. The next one is the Mass-Media. Here the mode of Entertainment is provided through media communications via films, television, radio, etc, etc. The film industry is considered to be the biggest entertainment industry in India with the yearly budget that includes turn-overs and profits soaring a billion Rupees and is easily the most dominating sector in Mass-Media. A Night Club comes close to this particular segment as music and records from the films get there major promotion done here.
Next in line are the Electronics media and off-shore related ventures. The Electronic Media provides entertainment in the form of various computer games and technology stuff like the internet and mobile phones. Where as the “see also” entertainment industry consists of related entertainment stuff from overseas. The Film industry in India is dubbed as “Bollywood”, where as the film industry that is based in the United States is termed as “Hollywood”. So entertainment from the Off- shore part is provided to us in India through the help of distributors. You also have Gambling and the pornographic Industry as mode of entertainers that is mainly kept aside for adults. On a work front a Branded Entertainment Company in India handles all these components with ease.
Now to the main point!!! Who manages the complete transactions? If the Entertainment Company in question is really big, branded and has a reputation to keep, it is essential that it has an account management firm to keep in check of their accounts. An entertainment company churns out huge money all the time, it hosts, sponsors and even arranges events, and hence a lot of money at any instant is at stake. Therefore there has to be a track on the budget to know what the actual and the estimated expenditure of the event is. All in all a Branded Entertainment Company in India is indeed a jackpot and anyone associated with it is bound to make a lot of money.

Advertising is a form of communication that is meant to drive customers to purchase or consume the goods/brand that is being sold. This is an enhanced form of marketing which convinces the customers and public that the brand they are selling are actually better then the others in competition. Every business organization has an Advertising agency or department that caters to the entire public and effectively promotes the benefits and usage of the product.
An Advertising Company in India mainly focuses on getting the best business for its clients via aggressive promotions, targeting the masses and classes alike. An ad agency is independent from the client and provides an outside point of view to the effort of selling the client’s products or services. The range of an Advertising Agency varies from all shapes and sizes right from small to medium sized agencies, large independents, and multi-national agencies, basically depending on the kind of ventures undertaken and the client reputations. The kind of advertisements that is done also varies as per the need and budget of the product or service to be marketed. It could be in the form of commercial advertisements, Internet /online promotion or classified advertisements in newspapers.
Full-service or media-advertising companies basically target the television audience by promoting the product through commercial advertisements. May be they would get in a
top celebrity or a famous personality to endorse the product. Online advertising is basically done via the internet and is basically handled by Digital Interactive Marketing firms through their Search Marketing Departments. A development team creates the website of the client, the creative or designing team and then the marketing team promotes it online. Then you have people promoting their advertisements via newspapers. This is considered to be one of the most cost effective ways to promote your business, the reason being this has the largest coverage in terms of reaching out to the masses. Infact if any company is looking to promote a business effectively the suggestion would be, first get your advertisement on paper, then get the commercial advertisement going and then promote it online. The campaign is bound to be highly successful.
Like any other organization an Advertising agency works in a Team Format basis. The people who create the actual ads form the core of an advertising agency. Next comes the account management department. Account management is somewhat the sales arm of the advertising agency. They are then responsible for coordinating the creative, media, and production staff behind the campaign. Next comes in the creative services team or the production team. This department consists of those employees who are responsible for coordinating the creative, media, and production staff behind the campaign. An often forgotten, but still very important, department within an advertising agency is traffic. The traffic department regulates the flow of work in the agency. It is typically headed by a traffic manager (or system administrator). Traffic increases an agency’s efficiency and profitability through the reduction of false job starts, inappropriate job initiation, incomplete information sharing, over-and under-cost estimation, and the need for media extensions. Some of the Biggest Commercial advertising companies in India include Mudra Communication, Pressman India, Thomson Associates, Lintas, and Percept Holdings. They have the best of clients with excellent reputation attached to them.

A movie production company in India today requires a multitude of talents and resources to meet the growing demand for moving media products in the country. The ones that benefit most from the boom in demand are those that have integrated content creation, aggregation and distribution capabilities.
It is an involved process, from the development of a story idea to commissioning the writing of a cutting-edge script, and further to filming, editing and delivering a finished product. For achieving this, a movie production company in India must adopt and master a myriad technologies and techniques. Moreover, it must have its creative fundamentals firmly in place to ensure that the product features differentiated content and is suitable for the designated audience.
Thanks to the country’s increasingly globalized business platform, there is immense scope for a creative and market-attuned movie production company in India today. The Indian film industry – both in the advertising and entertainment sectors – now rivals in scope and scale anything that the West has to offer. Bollywood has reached a level of glamour and international interest that only Hollywood could previously boast of. Indian television is a major revenue-spinner that drives a number of retail and entertainment markets.
If it has the correct staff and technological soundness, the field of opportunity is limitless for a movie production company in India today. However, the challenge is daunting – uncompromising expertise in motion picture production, mastery over the latest television software and advanced marketing capabilities for effective film distribution, promotion and IPR Marketing are de rigueur. The company must have complete mastery in ad film production and be able to create corporate films that meet the highest international standards. Further, no movie production company in India is complete without the capacity to handle live events and special projects as value-added services.
Movie production is a refined science with exacting protocols to ensure the right product is delivered within specified time-frames. The entire process is basically five-fold. At the development stage, the company develops or commissions a script and adapts it into a suitable basis for a film. Then comes the pre-production process, wherein the company harnesses it resources for the actual shoot by hiring a cast and crew, selecting a location and putting up sets.
In the ensuing production stage, the film crew records the raw elements of the film and graduates it into the post-production stage. Here, the editing process takes place and appropriate visual and audio elements such as music and special effects are incorporated. This invariably involves the use of computer-graphic visual effects. In the case of an ad or corporate film, the product is then delivered to the client. If the film is a commercial venture, the company’s sales and distribution division ensures that it reaches theatre and/or DVD distributors for dissemination to the general public.
Yes, these are exciting and challenging times for any movie production company in India. As the market for quality movie making expands in the country, more and more companies are rising to occasion.
